Thomas the Turkey
Thomas is a turkey and he has lost all his feathers-gasp! In this book, readers will retrace Thomas's steps around the house, picking up a feather at each location until they have helped Thomas find all seven of his brightly colored feathers. (The secret of this book is this: The child's parents or older siblings must first hide the feathers for the child to find, making the hunt easy or hard depending on the child's age.) The child will love taking part in this feather hunt, and families will adore this new Thanksgiving tradition.
Thomas the Turkey is a fun interactive thanksgiving day book. Thomas the Turkey has lost all of his feathers and it’s up to you to help him find them before thanksgiving dinner. It’s cute because older siblings can participate by hiding the feathers and the parents can read the book as the younger ones search around the house to find the hidden feathers. Or they can just find the hidden feathers on each page of the book. It can be as easy or hard as you want it’s really up to each family. The book has a page of feathers at the end so the children can cut them out or you can use real feathers if you have them.
